I uploaded these pictures to post several days ago. I didn't post them because I got busy and i had wanted to have more time to write out some thoughts I had about Spring and Easter and what it means to me. However, this has been a very busy week. I never sat down and wrote out anything. I still had all of these photos uploaded, though, so I thought I would go ahead and post them. These are some pictures of our home with my Easter decorations. I am posting some pics of the yard and our flower beds that we have been working on. I really do love this time of year!! I love making flower beds and planting...it is really fun for us this year since this is our first Spring season in our house. It's exciting finding places to plant flowers or make gardens.
Anyway...here are some pics I have taken recently around here. I have also included a few pics from our homeschool Easter party. It was a lot of fun! :) I will have Easter pics from time we spent with our families posted sometime this week. We had a great weekend with our family and it has been a lot of fun! We worked on Easter crafts this week and talked about why we celebrate Easter and opened our Resurrection eggs. It has been a wonderful week!
Hope you have a Blessed Easter! (And a Happy Spring!!)
Oh...and I did it! I gave up carbonated beverages and Facebook for Lent and I succeeded all 40 days. I really am a little proud of myself. I'm more proud that I gave up soda b/c that was much harder for me than giving up FB. I still haven't drank any soda...we'll see.
This is a Resurrection Scene - like a nativity but an empty tomb instead.
My mantle.
This is the top of the fridge...my bunnies and my chicks :)
A book shelf in the living room. I love those paper mache bunnies - found those at Target last year after Easter!
My jelly bean chick feeder.
Some of our pretty new flowers...
The front flower bed. We have planted in containers until we get gutters.
My washtub flower pot. I got this idea from Pinterest :)
These are our tulips - I love the dark purple ones.
Have a seat and sit for a spell...
Happy Easter!!
