A 2 Month Hiatus...

Yes!! I actually have new posts! It's been over 2 months since my last post. I completely missed posting about all of our Christmas activities and Christmas Day and New Years and Madeline's birthday. I missed out on a very busy time of year. I apologize. Again, with this pregnancy, I was very nauseated and tired during my first trimester. I had no motivation for "extracurricular" activities, such as blogging. Plus, Matt and I got an awesome new camera from my dad and it took me a while to figure out how to get the pictures posted onto the computer. I know that sounds elementary to some of you, but it just took me a while :) I'm feeling better now that I'm into my second trimester, thank goodness! I've been busy lately with getting a start on a new job. I am starting a part-time PACU (post anesthesia care unit) job at Mercy. I will be part time there and remain occasional part time at Southwest. I'm hoping I can work up until it's time to have the baby, which is only about 5 months away!! It's going by so quickly!! I am scheduled for my big ultrasound on March 10th, so that's when we'll find out if we're going to be blessed with another girl or a boy this time. I'll be sure to post on my blog about that one! Okay...enjoy the new pictures. I'm hoping to be more regular on my posting now!

Spaghetti Legs!!

We recently had the opportunity to attend a birthday party at the skating rink!! This was both Madeline's and Susanna's very first time to ever roller skate. Madeline looked forward to it for days. I was a little nervous b/c of course I was afraid she would be falling all over the place! Surprisingly, she did better than I thought. Of course, she was the only child with a helmet on! I'm so glad she's not at that "No one else is wearing a helmet" age where she has to feel self conscious because she's being made to wear a helmet! She loves the thing and thinks she's the coolest when she's wearing it. (And yes, I'm going to be one of those moms that makes their kids wear helmets and knee pads, etc :) Anyway, because I'm pregnant I wasn't able to skate. But if I weren't pregnant, I would've had those skates on in a second. Susanna didn't have a helmet on in her pictures because I never intended for her to skate at the party! I didn't think she was big enough. But when we got there they actually had skates her size and we held her hands the whole time so she wouldn't fall. She liked it for about 10 minutes and then she was ready to go play on the race car video games and eat skittles that uncle No-Mike kept buying her from the candy machines. It was pretty fun and I think Madeline can't wait to do it again!!

A Craving for Chicken....

We recently spent a saturday driving to Okarche to eat at Eischen's. It was one of those last minute "I'm pregnant and all of a sudden I'm REALLY craving Eischen's" kinda moments!! It was fun because Matt had never been before. He didn't think the chicken was as great as I did, though. (I think I enjoy the bread, pickles and onions as much as the chicken!) The kids enjoyed the trip. I think we have another trip in the works for next month!!
