Susanna is Two Years Old!!

My sweet little Susanna is two years old today! The time has just flown by. She's getting so big and growing so much. Here are two pictures I recently took. The second one is pretty funny...she is fascinated with chapstick and lipgloss. She simply calls the stuff "lips". She always wants more lips on. Well, she got into my purse when I didn't know it and found mommy's "lips". So, you can see that it doesn't always get on her actual lips. She needs a little practice...

Getting Ready for Christmas....

It's starting to look like Christmas at the Kendall house. We went the friday after Thanksgiving and got our Christmas tree. That's our tradition...to put it up the day after Thanksgiving so we get to look at it for one whole month!! This year we bought a Douglas Fir. I hope it doesn't dry out as quickly as our tree did last year. We brought the tree home and went to work right away in decorating it. The girls really enjoyed helping and they were very excited about hanging the ornaments. Susanna kept taking them off, though. Daddy put the lights on the house a couple of days before Thanksgiving, though, before it got cold outside. I will have to go out and take a picture and post it on here. We also got out the little trees for the girl's bedrooms and decorated those. It was a lot of funny for mommy and the girls!

Haunt the Zoo 2007

We visited the zoo for Halloween this year. It's becoming an annual thing. This year we went on Oct. 30th and we usually go earlier. It was VERY crowded. We felt like we were being herded through. I don't think the adults had very much "fun" but the kids totally enjoyed it. And it's about them, isn't it? So, we had fun watching them. Susanna was VERY excited about being there. She was jumping and singing and running the whole time. Madeline was very brave and wasn't really afraid of any of the costumes or anything. They both received lots of candy in their bags. But best of all...they each got a coupon for a FREE kids meal to Chick-fil-a! (Our favorite!!!) Madeline even got her picture made with the Chick-fil-a cow. They looked adorable in their princess costumes. Luckily the temperature was pretty mild and it wasn't very cold.
