Christmas Morning!!

It looks like Santa made a visit to Madeline and Susanna this Christmas!! (He really enjoyed the cookies and Rudolph loved the carrots!) The girls woke up on Christmas and were very excited about their new gifts. Susanna only wanted to play with the stroller...she wasn't that interested in opening gifts. Madeline really enjoyed opening her presents. I think she liked tearing the paper off the package more than anything...she would unwrap the gift and then want another one to open before she even opened the box to see what was in there! We all had a wonderful blessed Christmas this year.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!

A Kozy Kendall Kristmas!

This year on Christmas Eve we didn't have any commitments or places to go so we decided to stay home and have a "Kozy Kendall Kristmas". We really had a lot of fun. During the day mommy and daddy finished up some last minute shopping. Mommy finished wrapping some gifts and then later in the day daddy made cinnamon rolls! Daddy used great-grandma's recipe and made some very tasty cinnamon rolls! (This recipe makes a LOT!) Here are some pictures from our fun afternoon/evening....

A Ride on the Polar Express!

Mommy took Madeline and Susanna along with Papa, Uncle Larry, Mike, Melissa, Dylan and Rylee for a ride on Oklahoma City's own Polar Express! We visited the Oklahoma Railway Museum and took a train ride with Santa! We had hot chocolate, candy canes, cookies and jingle bells! We even saw Santa himself. It was a beautiful saturday morning and we all had a lot of fun! We can't wait to ride again!

All I Want for Christmas....

Here is a picture of Madeline sitting on Santa's lap!
My new job had Santa come visit one night last week so that all of the
employee's children could
come and visit and tell him what they wanted for Christmas!
Madeline ran right up
to him and jumped onto his lap.
She wasn't the least bit afraid!
She told him that she wanted a doll house this year.
And then she got some cookies
and juice and a blue candy cane (her favorite.)
Susanna didn't want to have ANYTHING
to do with Santa Claus this year. So, maybe next year.
I think that if she weren't afraid of Santa,
she'd tell him that she wants a doll :)

Downtown in December

We visited "Downtown in December" for the first time. It was VERY cold (probably in the 30's.) I guess that's how it is supposed to be at Christmas, though, isn't it? The boat ride along the canal is free during this time, so we took advantage of a free boat ride. There weren't as many lights as I would've expected. It wasn't very crowded, though, that's for sure! Probably because it was so cold. We rode the boat and then left...the wind was way too cold to hang around. But it was a fun adventure!

Christmas Cookies Are Best When Shared!

Madeline went to playgroup this week and brought Christmas sugar cookies for everyone to decorate. It was a kit that mommy had bought that included cookies, icing and sprinkles. The kids really enjoyed the sprinkles and thought the cookies were yum! It was so much fun!

My Little Girl Is Growing Up

Madeline woke up the other morning and before she came out of her room
she had taken her pull-up off all by herself and put her big girl panties on.
She also got herself dressed all by herself.
It is the middle of December and it was about 30 degrees outside.
She found this outfit in her drawer and was SO PROUD of
how she looked. We were very proud of her accomplishment!
I think daddy let her wear the pumpkin shirt all day and just made
her put some pants on instead of the skort!
