Spring is Here....Hooray!!

Today was a beautiful spring day so I took the girls to the zoo. It's been several months since we've been able to go. We rode the tram for our very first time today. This is the perfect way for a big 'ol pregnant girl to see most of the zoo :) It was more informative than I thought it would be. The girls really enjoyed it. We also rode on the Carousel. This was Susanna's first time to ride it by herself (with me standing next to her.) She has always been afraid but really enjoyed it this time. We had fun and I think the girls liked the ducks the most today. We can't wait to go back!

Easter 2008

We had a very busy but very nice Easter this year. We were able to spend a lot of time with our family and have a lot of fun. We started on saturday meeting up with my dad and brother (and his fam) and drove to Eischen's for chicken. Then Mike and Mel and the kids came over and we all dyed easter eggs. The kids really enjoyed this. They were looking forward to it for over a week! On Easter morning we got up early and let the kids play with their easter baskets. Then we went to the early service at church. After church we went to great grandma's house for lunch and easter eggs! Of course the girls enjoyed that. We had to hide the eggs at least 2 or 3 times for them. And for dinner we went to Mike and Melissa's. And again, we had fun hiding and looking for easter eggs! Spring Break 2008

Last week Matt had spring break! He was very excited to have a break from school and we were excited to get to see daddy for an entire week! :) One of the first things we did was plant a vegetable garden, some pansies and some summer bulbs. I hope they grow! We also went to Pops in Arcadia for a hamburger and a huge variety of different sodas. It was pretty cool. One fo the last things we did was take the kids to the Wichitas in Lawton. We took Madeline last year and she loved it so we decided to go again and take Susanna. Susanna had a lot of fun too and wasn't afraid of any of the rocks. It was very windy and also pretty busy b/c it was spring break. We weren't really able to see or feed many of the prairie dogs. But we did have a lot of fun!

Playgroup Easter Fun!

It's Easter time!! Again this year we went to our friend W's house for an Easter Party!! The girls had so much fun. There was a bouncy and yummy food and of course, easter eggs!! Madeline loaded up her bucket and Susanna found about two eggs before she got distracted by other toys. Then, her sister helped her a little :) This was good practice for Easter sunday where they will have lots of opportunity to find all sorts of Easter goodies!!
