A Trip to White Water Bay!

Today I took Madeline to White Water Bay! She

has been wanting to go all summer. This was Tyler's

last weekend here so Madeline and I went with Dad

and Tyler. Unfortunately it was VERY VERY crowded.

So crowded that we were pretty limited on the things

we were able to do. In fact, we didn't get to stay

as long as I would've wanted, but Madeline had fun.
She went down the flumes slide, swam in the lazy river,

the wave pool and of course the kid's pool. She really

had a good time. Next year maybe we'll get a season

pass and go during the week!!!

The Rush Springs Watermelon Festival!

We made our second annual trip to Rush Springs, Okla.

for their Watermelon Festival this year. Of course, it

was VERY hot outside...probably about 100 degrees. We

managed to find some shade and stay cool, somewhat.

Madeline had been looking forward to going to the Festival

all week so she was VERY excited. She loves watermelon and

she ate a ton! Susanna wasn't a big fan, though.

We even brought one home. They had fun

on a couple of the carnival rides (this was

Susanna's very first carnvial ride!) and of course,

they both had cotton candy.

We all had a really good time!

Fun with Friends!!

This week Dylan, Rylee and Max came over to play with
Madeline and Susanna. They spent most of the afternoon in

the swimming pool! After swimming they ate some pizza

and watched one of their favorites...Curious George!
