It's a Sprinkle Party!!

Every once in a while your children make a big mess. A mess that is unexpected and funny at the same time. This is one of those messes. You can't be mad at them because you are too busy laughing. Here's what happened....my girls love to play like they are having a party or baking cookies. So, occasionally, I let them play with the cupcake sprinkles. They pretend to be putting them in their food. Well, today, they got curious and opened them. They had a "Sprinkle Party" as Madeline called it. They had green hands and tongues. Sprinkles were everywhere. Thankfully, we have a great vaccuum that can get sprinkles out of the carpet!!

Disney on Ice - "Princess Wishes"

Today Madeline and I met Papa and Dylan at the fair

to watch the Disney "Princess on Ice" show. We had

very good seats and had a great view. The kids

really enjoyed the show. Mommy and Papa did too. It

was my favorite of all the "Ice" shows I've seen. They

told the stories of Jasmine, Belle, Mulan, Aurora,

Snow White, Ariel and of course Cinderella. Tinkerbell

was there too. The costumes were great and so were

all the dancers. It was a lot of fun!!

A Trip to the State Fair...

As part of our tradition we went to the state fair on opening

day. Usually we go as soon as it opens and it's not crowded. This year

we had to wait until I got off work and Matt got out of class. Needless

to say that it was VERY busy. Especially since it was only $1.00 to

get in. It was very crowded but we still had fun. The kids enjoyed

seeing the barn animals and the cars. They played a couple of games too.

The worst part was that we were stuck in the "premium" (you

gotta pay $5.00) parking lot for 2 hours!!! yes, 2 hours. Our

vehicle did not move. I won't go on about that, but it was bad.
