Last night was our annual night of pumpkin carving. We carved three pumpkins this year. We've always just done one in the past. We ended up with a lot of pumpkins this year, from the pumpkin patch. We each had our job - Mommy cleans the yuck out of the inside of the pumpkins and takes pictures, Madeline helps clean the yuck and got to help carve this year, Susanna watches and Daddy draws and carves the faces. Susanna kept saying "Pumpkin shucky!" She didn't like the idea of touching the inside of the pumpkin. We all had a lot of fun and the pumpkins looked pretty cool with the candles inside.

Jack-o-Lanterns Everywhere!

The World's Biggest Tea Party!
Madeline and mommy had a fun night watching My Little Pony Live. (From the same people who make Sesame Street Live.) We went on friday night and Daddy and Susanna had their own night of fun - they walked around bricktown and went to the Bass Pro Shop. The Little Pony show was pretty cute. The ponies were planning the "World's Biggest Tea Party" and there were lots of cute songs and decorations. There were lots of little girls there with their Little Pony light up stars (they sold these at the show.) Madeline really had fun and her favorite pony was Wysteria (the purple one). Mommy liked Pinkie Pie.

The Cutest Pumpkins in the Patch
This year we went to the pumpkin patch at TG Farms. It was so much fun. We were able to go on a weekday so there were very few people there. We practically had the whole farm to ourselves. This was probably my favorite pumpkin patch we've visited. It didn't have a fancy carousel or train but it did have several cute, playful farm animals. It had LOTS of pumpkins - of many different shapes, sizes, colors and contours! There were swings and slides and hay mazes and tricycle races. It had functioning bathrooms and it was really clean. We rode the tractor and we were able to get full-sized pumpkins to take home (not those tiny pie pumpkins). I have uploaded a lot of pictures, but it was just so fun I wanted to share them all ! I hope you enjoy looking at them :)
Happy 32nd Birthday Daddy!
2008 Halloween Par-tay at Stef's
Stefanie, for the 8th year in a row, hosted her Halloween Bash. Of course, it was girls only again this year. The theme was "Movie Characters" so there were many options. This year everyone really seemed to put a lot of effort into their costumes. The person voted "Best Costume" was Liz the Pirate (She was the Johnny Depp character from the POC movies.) Kelly won for the best food - she made oreo eyeballs that were really good. And I won the trivia quiz. We also all decorated a candle for our party favor. As usual, it was a great party!!
Kelly is the Scream monster-thing
Angie is Molly Ringwald - Pretty in Pink
Angela is Catherine Zeta Jones from Chicago
Kendra is Arwenn from Lord of the Rings
Hall Family Reunion - 2007
My brother and his wife hosted a family reunion for our family recently. It was a great opportunity for several of us who haven't seen each other in a while to get together and catch up. Mike rented a bouncy and the kids really had a blast jumping all afternoon. We grilled hamburgers and ate lots of great food. We really had a lot of fun watching the O.U. game and remembering funny old family stories!
The Halls: (back L-R) Ryan, Brian, Mike w/Dylan, Dad w/Rylee, Uncle Rick, Eric, Me w/Madeline and Susanna, McKinley, Mitchell, Mason (I'm not a Hall anymore but they let me be in the picture anyway :)
