Mommy has learned over the past year how much fun it can be to go bargain shopping at Target after holidays. (Christmas, Valentines, Easter, 4th of July, and Halloween). Target has a fairly predictable mark-down schedule and they ALWAYS go 50%, 75% and then 90%. I've learned if it's something consumable that I would use ANYWAY, I will go the day after the holiday and buy it at 50% off. I went on Dec. 26th and bought tons of clorox wipes, Cascade dish soap, Doritos, Fruity Pebbles, and a few other items all at 50% off....they had to mark it down b/c it was in "holiday" packaging. The things that I want but don't really have to have, I buy at 75%. And then, when it goes 90% off, I'll go to 3 or 4 Targets in one day and find all kinds of great deals! These are things that I will use or possibly resell at garage sales. Many of these items I find in the regular priced aisles b/c Target employees don't know that it is a "holiday" item and don't put them with the "holiday" markdown aisles. So, mommy went to 3 Targets the other day and spent $17.00 (approximately) on these items in the picture. So that means I got $170 worth of merchandise at 90% off. How much fun is that?!?! I just love shopping at Target. (In case you can't tell what is in the picture, I bought: 5 packages of bows (4.99ea), 1 box of Christmas cards (8.99), set of make-up bags ($19.99), 4 Method plug-in air fresheners (7.99 ea), 2 aquadoodle stocking stuffers (4.99ea), 3 Blues Clues See n Say Jr.'s (3.99 ea), 5 Method Candles (5.99 ea), Christmas t-shirt (4.99), Silly Putty (1.99), Kissables (2.79), Method air freshener (3.99), Salt n Pepper Shaker (1.99 ea), Snowman Baby's First Christmas ornaments (1.99 ea), Glad Candle (2.79 ea)...so....I found a lot of fun stuff!
