My Silly Little Madeline....

So we go to Target and this is what my little

Madeline did with the shorts I put in the

basket for her. She made a hat. Without any

prompting from me. And she got a pretty

good kick out of herself! She is quite the silly girl!

Ahhhh....Spring!

It was such a pretty spring day that we decided

to go to the park! There is a really nice park

right across the street from Target and luckily it

has a really nice bathroom! :) So we decided to

get out of the house for a little while today and go

to the park and play. Then we went to Target for

popcorn and icee's.

A Day at Chuch E. Cheese

We had a free day last week so we decided to ask Madeline what she would like to do. Her reply was, "Go to the carnival." Well, seeing that we don't have a carnival in town we thought Chuck E. Cheese would be the next best option. So, we we took the girls and I'll let you in on a little secret....if you can eat pizza at 10:30 in the morning, then go then. Order your food, and then play while they make it. There aren't any other people at Chuch E. Cheese at 10:30 in the a.m.!! The crowd starts building at noon. That's when we left...right before a school of about 100 kids arrived. I hadn't been to Chuch E. Cheese in several years and it was a lot of fun!

Daddy won 50 tickets from this game! Madeline loves the "duck" game...

We really had a lot of fun. Madeline chose a little grasshopper

finger puppet and Susanna got a necklace. 212 tickets sounds like a lot

but you really don't get much. I think they got some stickers too.

Miss Madeline Mud Pie

After all of the recent rain we had mud-a-plenty in our front yard! This is such a fun place for Madeline and today, before we knew it, she had discovered tons of it! She declared that she was "Thumbelina" and that she was "making a path" along the sidewalk. She has a very active imaginiation. Needless to say she had tons of messy fun!

Matt recently set his drums up in the garage and now we have a couple of new drummers in the family. These girls sure do know how to get their groove on!
