It's Been A While....

I know it's been a while since I've updated my blog. Matt bought a new computer last week and he's been trying to get all the pictures and files transferred to the new computer. I don't think they've all found their way to our computer yet so I can't post any of my newer pictures. PLUS, I'm having to learn how to use this new thing called Vista. So far, I don't like it. It looks way too different than the Windows I'm used to!!!

I thought I'd let you know that Mary has posted some of our proofs from our recent sitting on her blog: http://www.tomorrowsmemoriesphotography.blogspot.com/ Also, if you want to see all of the proofs, click on that link, then go to "Real Life" Photography. Then go to: Online Ordering Then, enter a valid email address (reneedk27@hotmail.c0m) Password is: Kendall

Let me know what you think!! I'm going to have a TOUGH time trying to decide which ones to order.

We are doing well. The baby is growing! He went for his one month appt. this past week. He weighs 12 pounds 13 ounces and is 22 3/4 inches long. He's starting to grin and smile. The girls are still in love with him. :) Matt goes back to school on monday so I'm going to fly solo with these three. I should be fine...just have to find a rhythm to my day and try not to go crazy! :)

Oh, and one last bit of news...for those of you who knew my little dog Parker, he passed away last night. I bought him a long time ago before Matt and I got married. In fact, most of you know, Parker and Matt had a love/hate relationship. Parker never really appreciated the fact that I brought Matt into my life! Parker barked at Matt at every chance he had. He was about 10 years old. My little Slim is going to be sad without his friend. I haven't told the girls yet. Susanna probably won't really understand but I expect Madeline to be a little sad. :(

Blue Ribbon Blueberry Pie!

This past weekend I decided to bake a blueberry pie with the girls. I have a Gooseberry Patch calendar that has a seasonal recipe for each month of the year. I saw this months picture and thought..."I've got to make that!!" So, I went to the store and bought the ingredients and sunday after church the girls and I made a homemade pie. (Except for the crust). The only pie I've ever made is key lime pie so this would be a new experience. Of course, the girls totally loved the idea. They love baking. Well, I bought some vanilla ice cream to go with it and when it was finished we all tasted it. It was yummy! The girls, however, didn't like it and only wanted the ice cream. Matt doesn't eat sweets. So, that just leaves me. I've almost eaten the whole pie by myself. This is why I don't bake often...because usually I'm the only one that will eat the end product. And I really want to try to watch my calories! Well, here are some pictures of the girls helping me....
